Mr & Mrs Walker, Tollerton, Notts

This spacious family kitchen in a period house near Nottingham required us to undertake extensive pre-installation works, including plastering, levelling floors, pipe works for a new boiler position, not to mention liaising with a damp proofing company to breathe new life and longevity into this room.

The English Rose Heritage Painted cabinetry in light grey really works well in this space – the door is a solid ash frame with raised veneered centre panel, which really gives a sense of weight and quality to the kitchen. The two main focal points of the kitchen are the range cooker with adjacent peninsula with generous preparation space, and the American fridge/freezer which is flanked on either side by pull-out larder pantry units by Vauth-Sagel.

The colour balance of the room is kept light by the addition of beautiful B-Quartz Bianco Venatino quartz worktops into which is set a classic white ceramic sink and mixer tap by Rangemaster. Plain white brick-effect tiling with grey grout lines to help pick out the pattern adorn the walls. The final addition of Polyflor Camaro Quayside Oak luxury vinyl flooring completes the room and adds a warming hue.

All that was left is for the customer themselves to finish the room with stylish and tasteful furniture and decorations, and we feel this is one of our loveliest projects to date.

"Kitchen Creations were absolutely fantastic. We needed a few jobs doing as well as the kitchen – a window bricked up, boiler moving and the floor levelling out. We also needed some damp proofing carrying out which they didn’t do, but were great in helping me find a company that could carry out the work. Every single tradesman that they used (plumber, builder, plasterer, & kitchen fitters) were brilliant. They really took the hassle out of me having to do endless internet searches and try and book them all in at the appropriate time. The kitchen itself is great quality & looks amazing - I get so many compliments on it. I absolutely love it!"
